An environment where I had the chance to learn real world skills and put them into practice through multiple facets of the industry. From marketing to pre-production to being on set.

Tasked with making an ad for the non profit organization Levo International. Learned the proper question to ask during a discovery, how to make a pitch deck, etc, etc.
On set for a day doing grip work, filmed an add for key stores in Mohegan Sun
I had professional development where I could learn on set skills like proper wrapping technique for a cable.
Learned daily tasks that come with a production company such as script breakdowns and equipment management. And had the chance to develop and strengthen the skills that come with that.

1st AC - Pay The Difference | Shot Film

Connecticut, July 2026

Connected with a UCONN grad student making an indie film. And was able to connect him with fellow classmates who had professional level skills. But needed work for their portfolio. It was a 3-day shoot with 12 hour days.

Boom Op - Almost Ours | Shot Film

Connecticut, 2026

I had the opportunity to collaborate with a director I previously worked with. As well as bring many of my classmates on set. Who up to this point did not have the opportunity to be on a set with this production budget. (for some context we were shooting with an ALEXA 35) Giving them a glimpse into the industry.

Grip/2nd AD/BTS - A Day Away | Shot Film

Wore a different hat each shoot day due to budget and schedule conflict. Leading to an understaffed crew. Which was alleviated by me filling in the gaps when needed.

Worked virtually with a studio company based in Maryland. Aimed on helping develop the story telling, directing, and storytelling ability of youth.

Performed rush job under tight deadline to the clients satisfaction
Worked around the mistakes naturally made when working with a younger audience; producing a high quality product
Although new to the team established a strong working relationship & diligently overcame any obstacles.

Documentarian - Cyber Combine

Baltimore MD, May 2025

Was flown out to Baltimore to capture and document a “cyber combine”. A competition aimed at black brown folks in the cyber security world. To help sharpen, guide, and elevate them.

Conducted improve interviews on competitors and instructors
Edited both long and short content by myself
Assisted in social media promotion
Set up equipment both for the competition and shooting the competition

Sound Operator/Photographer/ P.A. - What If We Fly | Gods of Earth Media | Award Winning Short Film

Comfortably wore many hats to great effectiveness. Resulting in the end in an award winning experimental short film. THat highlighted the juxtaposition between living and non living art pieces.

Responsible for setting up and operating sound equipment such as lavaliers and boom mic.

undertook a 3 day long venture in which we shot for 12 hours at a time.

Gained experience on both behind and in front of camera by playing the role of Wesely
